Whether you're a seasoned stargazer or exploring the night sky for the first time, our Observatory Tours provide a mesmerizing journey through the cosmos, with unrivalled dark sky viewing from our pristine Nature Reserve setting. 

Tour Highlights:

• 20-Minute Presentation: Learn about space from our passionate and knowledgeable astronomers.

• Laser-Guided Constellation Tour: Explore showcase constellations with an expert guide.

• Telescope Stargazing: View distant galaxies, celestial bodies, and cosmic phenomena through our state-of-the-art observatory scopes.

Important Visitor Information:

• Duration: 2 hours

• Suitability: Suitable for all ages (children must be supervised at all times).

• What to Wear: Evenings can get very cold, so please bring warm clothing.

• Dark Sky Policy: To preserve dark sky visibility, light-emitting devices (including phones, smartwatches, torches, and light-up clothing) are NOT to be used at any point once the tour commences.

“What if it's too Cloudy to see any Stars?”

If weather related events impact your tour, you are entitled to join the tour again free of charge - the GDCO issues vouchers in these cases.  The complimentary return tour is reedemable once, within one year of the original booking.

If your tour is impacted and you are unable to attend a future date, you can request a partial refund (50% ticket price only).

Bookings cancelled by either party ahead of the tour due to weather conditions shall be eligble for a refund (75% - ticket price only).

For bookings made via an agent/third party - refunds should be directly sought and processed directly via booking agent.

Our Adults Only Stargazing Evening offers a more intimate experience under the stars, exclusively for the grown ups, in a much smaller group (upto 16 participants).

With admission to our Discovery Centre included, we invite you arrive from 4.00pm to explore our Discovery Centre's galleries and exhibits and to admire the picturesque sunset view from atop our Leaning Tower.

If weather related events impact the tour, visitors are entitled to join the tour again free of charge.  The return tour must be scheduled within one year of the original booking.

Vouchers are issued by the GDCO to the customer in such circumstances.

Suitable for all ages, you are welcome to arrive anytime from 10.00am to commence your visit - gates close at 4pm.

We recommend allowing upto two hours to fully appreciate our Facility and Attractions and kindly request that you arrive with plenty of time to enjoy your visit.

To step outside and look up - collectively - brings a wonderful feeling of connection here on our third rock from the Sun. Saturday 19 September is International Observe the Moon Night - a global initiative of NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration, encouraging Everyone, Everywhere to celebrate our nearest celestial neighbour ? ? Join the Gravity Discovery Centre and Observatory (and Lunar-tics from all over the world) in looking up at our International Observe the Moon Event.
